Carmel Mount Situated at Changanacherry, near Chethipuzha St. Thomas Hospital (Kottayam Dt.), Carmel Mount is a Retreat Centre belonging to the CMC Holy Queen's Province Changanacherry aiming at the renewal of the Religious Sisters as well as the Christian formation of the laity. Carmel Mount is, in fact, the bicentenary memorial of Blessed Chavara Kuriakose Elias, the founder of CMC, the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel. The purpose of the Retreat Centre has been successfully carried out at a large scale from the beginning. Carmel Mount is a gift of God for the people of the region. It is meant for the renewal of the people not only of this locality but also of the people from far and wide.
Carmel Mount has all the facilities for a Retreat Centre- A well furnished Chapel, a Shrine for silent Adoration, and another Shrine for Our Lady of Mount Carmel, a full fledged Retreat hall, a big counseling hall, and a well set mess hall.
Thanks to the grace of God for our accommodation facilities are neat and good.There are about 60 well set rooms for accommodation. Each bed has three beds. In addition ,there is a spacious womens wing consisting of 70 beds.
